The Space of Care is a humanitarian project of the Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, created with love and attention to those who suffered from the war and need special support. This project has become a place where families with children can find the help they need, feel safe, and receive the care they need in these difficult times.
Space of Care – This is a spacious and cozy space where everyone can find what they need. For children, a playroom has been created here, where kids can have fun and spend time usefully. On a soft carpet, they play with toys and develop and communicate with each other. For older children and parents, there are comfortable seats at the tables where you can study, draw, read, or just spend time together. It’s not just a room — it’s an island of peace and normalcy in a world where many things have become unpredictable.
Next to the playroom is a large wardrobe, where things for adults and children donated by caring people are collected. In conditions when many families were forced to leave their homes, losing everything they had, this wardrobe became a real salvation. Here, everyone can choose the clothes and shoes they need for everyday life and feel the support of society.
The Space of Care also offers psychological help to families with children. Professional psychologists work with parents and children to help them cope with the emotional trauma caused by the war. Play therapy, and group and individual counseling help to restore mental balance and gain inner strength to overcome difficulties.
In addition, humanitarian aid is distributed here. Low-income families can apply for regular assistance, including food kits, hygiene products, and other necessary items. We understand that in the current situation, we need not one-time, but systematic assistance, and we are ready to support families as long as necessary.
The Space of Care is more than just a project. It is a place where everyone feels needed and important, where care for people is manifested in every action. We strive to create an atmosphere in which children and their parents can regain confidence in the future and find strength and hope. We are grateful to everyone who supports the Space of Care and invite everyone who wants to help to join us. Together, we can make the world a warmer and brighter place for those who need it most.
