Assistance to IDPs is one of the most important projects of the Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, aimed at supporting people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war. IDPs face enormous difficulties, ranging from the loss of housing and jobs to the need to adapt to new living conditions. Our project is designed to help them on this difficult path by providing comprehensive support and care.
The goal of the project is to provide IDPs with everything they need to survive and adapt to new conditions. We understand that every person who has left their home needs not only financial assistance, but also emotional support that helps to overcome stress and fear of the unknown future.
The first step within the framework of the “Assistance to Displaced Persons” project is to provide humanitarian aid. We provide families with food, clothing, hygiene products and other necessary things. Our foundation has a large wardrobe where IDPs can choose clothes and shoes for adults and children, which is especially important in conditions when people are not able to buy even the most basic things.
In addition, we help displaced people gain access to medical care and necessary medicines. At a time when many hospitals and pharmacies are unavailable, such support can become vital. We also help people restore documents that may have been lost and gain access to social benefits and benefits.
Psychological support is another important element of our project. Moving to a new place, especially in the context of a military conflict, causes a lot of stress and anxiety. Our psychologists work with displaced people, helping them cope with these emotions and adapt to new conditions. One-on-one counseling, group sessions, and play therapies for children help people regain their mental balance and find the strength to start a new life.
We also organize events and trainings aimed at integrating IDPs into the new community. These events help people connect with locals, gain new knowledge and skills necessary for successful adaptation. We also support displaced children by organizing educational and entertainment programs for them to help them quickly get used to their new surroundings and make new friends.
Helping displaced people is more than just support in difficult times. This is a project aimed at making every person forced to leave their home feel protected and confident in the future. We are working to ensure that IDPs can not only survive, but also start building a new life, despite all the difficulties.
We are grateful to everyone who supports our project and invite all concerned people to join us. Together, we can make the world a better place and help those in difficult situations find hope and confidence for the future. If you want to help or need support, contact us — we’re here to help.
