September 4 was a special day for the Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Charitable Foundation. An honored guest from Germany, volunteer Jens Leisenberg, came to our walls, who gave the children of the Dvorichna community unforgettable emotions and joy with his visit. This visit was not only marked by pleasant gifts, but also symbolized support and unity in such a difficult time.
Jens came to us to congratulate the little migrants on the beginning of the school year and give them a piece of warmth and care. His attention and participation became a real holiday for children who found themselves far from their homes and usual life. Thanks to the gifts from Jens, which he brought especially for them, smiles shone on the faces of the children, and their eyes were filled with joy. This moment reminded us again how important support is and how simple gestures can make life brighter and more joyful.
For many of these children, the beginning of the school year is a chance to return to balance and normal life, to new knowledge and communication with peers. Jens’ gifts have become a symbol of a new page in life, full of care and attention from kind people from all over the world. The children’s parents were sincerely touched by this gesture and expressed their deep gratitude for their support and indifference.
In addition to presenting gifts, Jens Leisenberg took an active part in the volunteer work of the foundation, clearly showing that mutual assistance knows no boundaries. His visit is another testament to how important it is to be together and support each other in difficult times. We sincerely thank Jens for the humanitarian aid provided and for becoming part of our large and friendly team.
