Aid to Displaced Ukrainians: Stories of Resilience and Global Support for Ukrainian Refugees

KHARKIV, Ukraine — As the relentless tides of war displace more Ukrainian families, the Chervona Kalyna Charitable Foundation opens its doors once again, offering refuge and relief for those who leave occupied by enemy territories. Today, the foundation welcomes people from areas like Dvorichna, Kupyansk, and Lozova. Many of these individuals have faced devastating personal losses and arrived carrying profound grief. For the Foundation, each encounter is a call to help rebuild lives shattered by conflict and provide the comfort of solidarity.

At Chervona Kalyna, the help provided is more than material support. Each person welcomed sees that they are not forgotten, that there are those committed to assisting in these difficult times. Today’s gathering brings together both refugees and the Foundation’s supporters—a day of gratitude to the partners whose contributions make these efforts possible.

Global Partnership: How Trident Association, UA Friends, and Other Allies Are Making a Difference

The Foundation extends its deepest thanks to its global partners, especially the French-Ukrainian Trident Association and the UA Friends charity. These organizations have provided a range of humanitarian supplies, from food and clothing to essential items. Yet, their aid represents more than goods; it symbolizes unity and an enduring bond.

The Trident Association, an alliance between Ukrainians and French citizens, has repeatedly stepped forward with critical support, sending humanitarian shipments filled with food, clothing, and hygiene supplies. UA Friends has also been a steadfast ally, ensuring the delivery of medical supplies and essentials for children, underscoring their unwavering commitment to aid those affected.

Also deserving recognition are Alexei Bezkrovny of Wrocław’s Institute of Low Temperatures and the volunteer team led by Sergiy Morenko. Their organized efforts have been instrumental in channeling humanitarian resources to those most in need, ensuring systematic and equitable distribution.

Victoria Korets and Iryna Zakharchenko, leaders of the Women’s Dream Foundation from the United States, have also made significant contributions, particularly to programs focused on women and children. Their personal initiatives and unwavering empathy have brought substantial support to some of Ukraine’s most vulnerable populations, offering not only resources but also hope.
