Delivering Hot Meals and Comfort Alongside Partners
In January 2025, Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Foundation continued its mission—serving up warm food, emotional support, and community connection for internally displaced families, front‑line soldiers, and neighbors from liberated areas. In chilly winter days, their Kitchen of Kindness baked up to 1,000 hearty pies per day—a delicious symbol of care and resilience.
🔹 January 31 – Volunteers baked and distributed over a thousand freshly baked savory pies, pieced together with love and compassion for those in need. A huge shout-out to our tireless bakers for their selfless service.
🔹 January 30 & 27 – Displaced residents of the Dvorichanska community received full humanitarian aid kits—complete with essentials—thanks to the generosity of Food Bank Ukraine, including their signature pickled cucumbers.
🔹 January 28 – Young artists from the Dvorichanska area dug hands-first into an inspiring clay pottery workshop, guided by skilled mentors. Partnering with Food Bank Ukraine, children took home handmade cups along with a festive feast.
🔹 January 23 & 22 – Heartfelt gratitude to Dobray Zvistka Church in Kyiv and local residents of Dublyanka—homemade garlic, lard, and eggs fueled our Kitchen of Kindness and kept warm meals flowing.
🔹 January 21 – Community visits to Baranove, Khvorostovo, and Rogivka brought friendly smiles, care packages, and essential hoodies donated by The Novi Community.
🔹 January 17, 15, and 8 – Depths of creativity and joy poured into art therapy sessions: painting animal art and crafting paper snowflakes beside bright holiday trees. Thanks to Web3Forces News, Fundacja Nasha Nowa Nadzieja, and other partners, kids left with gifts and enriched spirits.
🔹 January 16 – A nourishing lunchtime in Petropavlovsk Church (Taras Shevchenko Str.) brought the foundation’s Kitchen of Kindness soups, pies, and tea to locals in need—blessed by Father Valentyn’s caring presence.
🔹 January 2, 31 – Our partnership with Nova Poshta Humanitarian smoothly delivered crucial aid to displaced communities. Thank you for being our steady support.
