The third quarter of 2024 was a period of expanding cooperation and strengthening assistance to those in need in the Kharkiv region for the foundation. The Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Foundation continues to unite volunteers and partners to help displaced people, the military and local residents, supporting the spirit of the community and faith in victory.

- Opening of new playgrounds: a children’s mini-library for educational and developmental classes has been created
- Humanitarian aid to IDPs and residents of the region: food kits and hygiene products were issued
- Hot lunches and meals: regular provision of hot lunches and portions of food
- Pies and pastries for institutions: pies and other pastries for hospitals and socially significant institutions were donated
- Activities for children and adults: entertainment, educational and cultural programs for children and their families
- Psychological and medical support: meetings with psychologists and doctors were organized
- Support for schoolchildren: gift sets with stationery and toys were presented for the beginning of the school year
- Comprehensive support for families and children: assistance was provided to children, families and residents of the region
- Partner support: constant interaction with a number of international partners, including Food Bank Ukraine, The Novi Community, German Food Bridge and others
- External support and grants: new grants received for the implementation of key initiatives
Humanitarian aid and food
- Monthly distribution of food kits and basic necessities to IDPs from the Dvorichna community and other regions of the Kharkiv region.
- Holding charity fundraisers for the purchase of potatoes and other vegetables for those in need, as well as organizing the delivery of harvested vegetables.
- Support the military with food kits, camouflage nets, drinking water and other necessary things.
Children’s support and educational initiatives
- Celebrations and presentation of gift sets for the beginning of the school year for displaced children (stationery, toys, books).
- Organization of cultural and educational activities for children, including quizzes, games, sculpting classes, opening a mini-library and interactive meetings.
Medical support
- Organization of mobile medical teams to examine displaced persons, provide medicines and carry out diagnostics.
- Holding regular meetings with doctors and medical specialists to provide free assistance to the population.
Cultural and sporting events
- Holding chess tournaments and supporting sports events within the framework of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports.
- Festive meetings and organization of friendly gatherings for IDPs and local residents in order to strengthen the spirit of the community
