Main achievements by month
April
- Received a certificate of honor from the Kharkiv Regional State Administration on Volunteer Appreciation Day. The “Volunteer of Ukraine” medal was awarded to the director of the foundation, Lyudmila Katkova, and other volunteers received “Honor and Glory” crosses.
- Continued distribution of humanitarian aid to IDPs in the Dvurechanska community in cooperation with Samaritan’s Purse.
- Organized a charity lunch with uzvar, pies, and pilaf at the Petro-Pavlovsky Church in Kharkiv.
- The Kitchen of Kindness prepares meals every day for military personnel and civilians, despite shelling and difficult conditions.
- Working meetings were held with the Kharkiv Employment Center to discuss the involvement of IDPs in socially useful work.
- A computer science lesson was organized for children on new computers from Food Bank Ukraine.
- Active involvement of IDPs in work (packing, unloading, helping in the kitchen).
May 2025
- Free legal consultations were provided to IDPs from the Dvorichanska community with the participation of lawyers from Caritas Kharkiv.
- Congratulations to volunteers celebrating their birthdays, including Yelyzaveta Rakogon and Antonina Chernykh, key cooks at the foundation.
- Organized events and art therapy for displaced children, including a circus show and soap bubble party.
- Weekly charity lunches at the church and outreach assistance to communities.
- Received over 2 tons of food from rural communities for the volunteer kitchen.
- Cooperation with the Kharkiv Regional State Administration continues, with over 100 IDPs involved in the foundation’s work.
June 2025
- Over 5 children’s events with gifts and sweets were held with the support of Food Bank Ukraine.
- Visit to the Baranivka Starost District — strengthening partnerships, presenting awards, collecting fresh vegetables and food for the fund’s kitchen.
- Unloading and packaging of over 10 tons of humanitarian aid with the involvement of IDPs.
- Summer vacation for displaced children, including cooking workshops, games, and treats.
- Hygiene kits for defenders of Ukraine donated by RUSH and the EVA network.
- Emergency assistance to victims in Kharkiv after shelling — tea, baked goods, and support for utility services.

Summary
The second quarter of 2025 was marked by the expansion of our humanitarian and social mission, the strengthening of partnerships, and active work with internally displaced persons. The Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Foundation continues to fulfill its mission of supporting Ukrainians in difficult times, giving them warmth, care, and faith in the future.
