2024 report

2024 was a year of significant achievements, new partnerships, and extensive humanitarian support for the foundation. By combining the efforts of volunteers, patrons, and international organizations, we were able to help thousands of people in need, create an atmosphere of warmth and support, and make a significant contribution to strengthening society.

Key results of the foundation’s work in 2024

 

  • Over 250 events were held, including charity lunches, creative workshops, sports tournaments, entertainment and educational programs.
  • Over 20,000 hot meals and about 40,000 pies were provided to hospitals, displaced persons, and military personnel.
  • Over 15,000 humanitarian kits were distributed, including food, clothing, medicine, bedding, and essential items.
  • Holidays were organized for more than 3,000 children, including gift-giving and entertainment programs.
  • Five targeted fundraisers were initiated to purchase equipment for the Kitchen of Kindness.
  • Important projects have been launched, such as the opening of a children’s library and the modernization of the “Care Corner” for collective events.
  • Five grants were received, which made it possible to expand the infrastructure and implement new initiatives.
  • Cooperation with more than 30 partners, including international organizations and local communities, has been expanded.
  • The Foundation received awards and recognition for its contribution to the volunteer movement.

  • Children and families of displaced persons from the Dvorichanska community, Vovchanska, Baranove, Khvorostove, and other territories.
  • Elderly people and people with disabilities living in liberated communities.
  • Patients in children’s hospitals, including the Kharkiv Children’s Hospice.
  • Servicemen defending Ukraine on the front lines.
  • Local communities affected by the war.

Key areas of activity of the Chervona Kalyna Kharkiv Foundation in 2024

Humanitarian aid

  • Regular delivery of food packages and hygiene products to displaced persons, residents of liberated territories, and defenders.
  • Providing the fund’s kitchen with products for preparing hot meals.
  • Organizing fundraisers to purchase equipment such as a food dehydrator and a meat grinder.

Support for displaced persons

  • Organization of charity lunches and distribution of humanitarian kits.
  • Organization of entertainment events, psychological counseling, and educational programs.
  • Provision of targeted assistance to elderly displaced persons and persons with disabilities.

Support for children

  • Organization of holiday events: Christmas and New Year’s programs, creative workshops.
  • Visiting hospitals with gifts and humanitarian aid.
  • Educational initiatives: opening a children’s library, holding interactive meetings, sports tournaments.

Support for defenders

  • Delivery of camouflage nets, thermal socks, hot meals, and homemade pies.
  • Delivery of humanitarian aid from civil communities.

Development of partnerships

  • Cooperation with international and national partners.
  • Support for volunteer initiatives and attraction of new patrons.
